What we never collect
No account, so no password and no profile. No analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. We do not write visitor IP addresses, browser details or full page addresses to our logs. Our traffic figures are anonymous counters (how many times a page was viewed, how many times a search engine fetched it) and cannot be tied to a person. Our rate limiter keeps your address in memory for a few minutes to slow abuse, and never writes it to disk.
Visitors get no cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, and only if you pick one. Staff sign in with a separate cookie that is never sent to these pages.
What we keep when you place an order
Your order (what you bought, the total, the coin you paid with and the payment details needed to match your transfer), your delivery name and address so the courier can deliver, a phone number for the courier, and the email address or Telegram handle you give us so we can reach you about the order. The deposit address and amount for your payment are stored with the order.
How long we keep it
We erase your name, street address, city, postal code and phone number 90 days after delivery, or 14 days after an unpaid order closes. We keep the country and region, because they record where a sale was made, together with the order, its totals and your contact, so we can support you and meet our bookkeeping and tax obligations. Records we are required by law to keep are kept for as long as the law says.
Who else sees it
The couriers who deliver your order see your delivery details. The payment network that converts your payment sees the coin, the amount and the deposit address for your order, not who you are. Suppliers we buy from receive what they need to fulfil an item, which can include a delivery name and address where an item ships direct. Our team gets an alert when an order needs action: it names the order ID, the amount and the delivery country, not your details.
Our pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which handles the connection between your browser and our server and so sees your IP address and the pages you request. It does not receive your order or delivery details from us.
On the checkout page only, a bot check from Cloudflare may load. It does not receive your address from us.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Your choices
Email contact@buylaptopwithcrypto.com to ask what we hold about an order, to have details corrected, or to have your contact details erased early. Quote your order ID so we can find it. Where the law requires us to keep a record, we will tell you what and for how long.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. Delivery details are visible only to staff signed in to a restricted panel, and the database is not reachable from the internet. If we ever learn that your data was exposed, we will tell you.
