Modular Laptop and Crypto Payment FAQ

Payment window, wrong networks, DIY kits, assembly, shipping, warranty, returns and what we store about you, answered in plain words.

Can I really buy a laptop with Bitcoin or other crypto?

Yes. Configure the laptop, choose Bitcoin at checkout and send the exact amount shown to the address on your order page. Monero, Solana, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC and 43 coins in total work the same way. The payment is converted on our side, so you never trade anything first.

What is the difference between an assembled laptop and a DIY kit?

The parts are identical. An assembled laptop is put together by us, gets the operating system you chose, and runs a burn-in test before it ships. A kit arrives with every part in its own box for you to assemble, with no operating system installed, and costs less because there is no assembly fee.

How long do I have to send the payment?

2 hours. The amount and the address hold for that long and the order page counts down. A payment that lands after the window is not lost: we match it to your order by hand, which takes longer. If you sent nothing, nothing is charged, and a new order gets a fresh quote.

What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

Send exactly the amount shown, on the network shown. Coins sent on another network cannot be recovered by anyone, including us, so compare the network label with your wallet before you confirm. A transfer that is slightly short or over pauses the order for a quick manual review, and we contact you if anything is needed.

How long until it ships?

Most builds and kits ship within 5 to 10 business days of payment, depending on parts availability. The order page shows each stage, from sourcing the parts to the tracking number.

Which parts work together?

The builder only offers parts that fit what you already chose, and greys out the rest with the reason: a memory type the mainboard does not take, a screen made for another chassis size, a charger too small for the graphics module. The same checks run again on our side when you order.

Do you ship to my country?

To most countries, at a flat rate by region that you see before you pay. A few destinations are excluded because of sanctions and export rules. Import duties and local taxes, where they apply, are set by your customs office and are not part of our price.

What are the warranty and return terms?

An assembled laptop carries a 12 month warranty against defects, and the parts in a kit carry their makers' warranties, which we help you claim. Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Refunds are paid in crypto to an address you give us.

Do I need an account, and what do you store?

No account. We keep the order and your delivery details while we fulfil it and handle support, then erase the name, street address and phone number 90 days after delivery. We run no analytics scripts and do not log IP addresses.
