Kit assembly is covered step by step in our guide to assembling a modular laptop.

What modular means here

  1. Memory and storage are yours to change

Standard modules and M.2 drives in sockets, not soldered. Add more when you need it.

  2. Ports are cards

Each bay takes a card: USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, microSD. Swap them in seconds.

  3. The screen and keyboard come off on their own

A cracked screen or a worn keyboard is one part, not a new laptop.

  4. The mainboard can be upgraded

When a newer board for your chassis appears, the processor changes and everything else stays.

How an order works

  1. Configure

Choose a chassis, then the parts that fit it. Anything that clashes with an earlier choice is greyed out, with the reason.

  2. Pay

Pick a coin and send the exact amount to your order's own address within 2 hours. The order page updates when the network sees it.

  3. We build or pack it

We source the parts, then assemble and test the laptop or pack the kit. Each stage, and the tracking number, appears on your order page.

Questions people ask first

All questions

Can I really buy a laptop with Bitcoin or other crypto?

Yes. Configure the laptop, choose Bitcoin at checkout and send the exact amount shown to the address on your order page. Monero, Solana, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC and 43 coins in total work the same way. The payment is converted on our side, so you never trade anything first.

What is the difference between an assembled laptop and a DIY kit?

The parts are identical. An assembled laptop is put together by us, gets the operating system you chose, and runs a burn-in test before it ships. A kit arrives with every part in its own box for you to assemble, with no operating system installed, and costs less because there is no assembly fee.

How long do I have to send the payment?

2 hours. The amount and the address hold for that long and the order page counts down. A payment that lands after the window is not lost: we match it to your order by hand, which takes longer. If you sent nothing, nothing is charged, and a new order gets a fresh quote.

What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

Send exactly the amount shown, on the network shown. Coins sent on another network cannot be recovered by anyone, including us, so compare the network label with your wallet before you confirm. A transfer that is slightly short or over pauses the order for a quick manual review, and we contact you if anything is needed.

How long until it ships?

Most builds and kits ship within 5 to 10 business days of payment, depending on parts availability. The order page shows each stage, from sourcing the parts to the tracking number.

Start with the chassis.

It decides which board, screen and keyboard fit. The rest takes a few minutes, and you see the full total with shipping before you choose a coin.
